Name: Brian Gilbert

I have been with CPR since: 2001
Hometown (where I grew up): Ravenna, MI
Best part of my job is that I get to work with people I enjoy each and every day. The laughter, fun, and comradery that we have here at CPR goes without comparison! This also carries over into the communities that we serve as seen in the interactions we have each day and the friendships that we developed over the years.
The most rewarding part of my job is I love seeing patients improve and return to the activities that they love. This same thing is what energizes me to continue to push myself and grow as a clinician each and every day.
My greatest professional accomplishments: I’m very proud of my OCS and MDT specialization. These have helped me grow clinically. I’m also very proud of my appointment to the Board of Physical Therapy and what I’ve been able to do for our profession in my role on this Board.
When I am not at work: I’m spending time with my wife, Kate, and my kids. As a family we are very active and love to be outside playing golf, skiing, biking, or hiking.
Something that might surprise you about me: I was on the Cheerleading team in my first 2 years in college at GVSU. This is where I met my best friend, my wife so I found it to be very rewarding!
