Jamie Young, ATC graduated from the University of Michigan in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Education, and Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training and Physical Education. While at the University of Michigan, she worked as a student athletic trainer for the varsity Field Hockey, Tennis, Wrestling, and Football teams; including the '97-'98 Football team that won a National Championship title. After a short assignment teaching in Detroit, Jamie went back to earn a Master of Arts in English Teaching from the University of Montana in 2004. While there, she worked as an intern for a registered dietitian/nutritionist, which proved to be a valuable experience for working with athletes. Jamie is now a full time language arts and yearbook teacher at Godwin Heights High School in Wyoming, Michigan (her alma mater). She joined CPR as an athletic trainer for the Comstock Park Panthers in September of 2005.
